The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join the Commercial Property Team in Leicester. The role will focus predominantly on development and strategic land work, with some general commercial property included. This is an excellent chance for someone with the drive and enthusiasm to further their career, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Advising and assisting clients on commercial property matters, ensuring a consistently high level of service
• Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation
• Managing all aspects of the client relationship, from engagement through to billing
• Handling client cases from start to finish with appropriate supervision where necessary
• Ensuring compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and internal file management requirements
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to promote the wider interests of the firm
• Updating and consulting with Senior Associates and Partners on progress

You
The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in commercial property, ideally with exposure to development and strategic land work
• The ability to handle straightforward transactions and confidently approach unfamiliar tasks
• A good grasp of relevant legal principles and the ability to apply them effectively
• Sound judgment and the ability to use experience to check and challenge information provided
• Strong client relationship skills and the ability to produce consistently high-quality work
• A proactive, approachable nature and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
