The Firm
Join a progressive, award-winning Legal 200 law firm with a national reputation for excellence and a genuine people-first culture. You’ll work in an open, inclusive, and collaborative environment where individuality and wellbeing are valued as much as expertise.

The firm operates across major UK sectors including healthcare, government, education, and finance, and is known for its commitment to fairness, sustainability, and innovation. It’s a place where talented lawyers thrive, grow, and make a real difference.

The Role
You’ll handle your own caseload of clinical negligence claims while assisting senior lawyers on complex, high-value, and often sensitive matters for major healthcare clients, including NHS bodies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and progressing clinical negligence cases from instruction to resolution
  • Delivering clear, strategic, and commercially sound legal advice
  • Supervising junior fee-earners and delegating work effectively
  • Providing secondment support to clients and contributing to training or business development initiatives
  • Staying up to date with new legislation and healthcare law developments

This is a great opportunity to develop your career in a nationally recognised team working on cases that genuinely impact lives.

You
You’ll be a confident, ambitious solicitor with:

  • Experience in clinical negligence or serious personal injury work (defendant or claimant)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and communication skills
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Interest in healthcare advisory or inquest work (an advantage, not essential)

Benefits

  • Private medical insurance for all staff
  • Hybrid and flexible working for real work-life balance
  • Enhanced pension and life assurance from day one
  • Mental health and wellbeing support, private GP access, and lifestyle perks
  • Electric car and cycle-to-work schemes
  • Enhanced parental leave and a supportive, family-friendly culture
