AML Analyst – US Law Firm

The Role?
- Carrying out client and matter due diligence.
- Investigating ownership structures and identifying ultimate beneficial owners.
- Assessing risk profiles for clients and third-party payers – using your expert eye to spot red flags.
- Digging into source of wealth and funds using a mix of internal tools and external databases.
- Flagging any high-risk factors (think sanctions, PEPs, tricky jurisdictions – the usual suspects).
- Keeping everything up to scratch in terms of AML policies, records, and procedures.
- Working closely with billing, legal teams, and other support staff – you’ll be a key part of the firm!
- Supporting internal AML projects and helping keep things running smoothly day-to-day.
About You?
- Around 2 years’ experience in an AML role within a law firm – legal sector experience is key here.
- Solid knowledge of AML procedures and client due diligence.
- A confident communicator who’s comfortable liaising with people at all levels.
- Super organised, detail-focused and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Great with tech – strong skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, etc
- Someone who’s proactive, switched-on, and ready to get stuck in!
