Job Title: Private Client Solcitor/Fee Earner

Location: Fylde Coast, Lancashire
Salary: Competitive / Excellent Salary DOE
PQE: 5+ PQE
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary law firm on the Fylde Coast. This is an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to join a highly regarded local team, taking over an established caseload and working closely with the Head of Department to develop and grow the Private Client offering.

The firm has an excellent reputation across the local area and has been established on the Fylde Coast for over 80 years. The office is ideally located close to the seaside and is easily commutable from Blackpool, Lytham, Lancaster, Preston and East Lancashire.

The Role You will manage your own varied caseload of Private Client matters, advising individuals, families and business owners on a range of matters including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Court of Protection matters
• Elderly client and vulnerable person matters
• High-value and complex estates

You will work as part of an established Private Client team, with the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and development of the department. You will build strong relationships with clients across the region while also participating in business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for cross-referrals across the wider firm.

Requirements

• At least 5 years' PQE in Private Client Law
• Strong experience managing your own Private Client caseload
• Experience across Wills, Probate and Estate Administration
• Good knowledge of Trusts and Estate Planning
• Experience advising on Inheritance Tax and complex estates desirable
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Highly motivated and forward-thinking approach
• An interest in business development and developing the Private Client offering
