I’m working with a very well regarded Newcastle firm looking to add a 2–4 PQE solicitor to its Commercial Services team.

The work is broad, modern and genuinely interesting.

Commercial contracts, technology, software, SaaS, IP, licensing, data, privacy and consumer work all feature.

There is also a strong client base across tech, gaming, digital and media businesses, so you’re not just churning through standard agreements all day.

They want someone with a solid grounding in commercial contracts who is ready for a bit more responsibility, more client contact and a wider spread of work.

You don’t need to arrive as a finished article.

If you’ve got good commercial experience and an interest in technology, IP or data, they can build on that.

The team is busy, established and supportive, and the quality of work is excellent.

For someone around the 2–4 PQE mark, it’s a very good platform to become a properly rounded commercial lawyer.
