I’m keen to speak with NQ to 3 years’ PQE Solicitors who have an interest in building their career within Rural Property.

I’m working with a highly regarded Scottish law firm that has an excellent reputation for its work within the rural and agricultural sector and is looking to add another Solicitor to its established team.

This is a particularly good opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who has gained some rural, agricultural or property experience during their traineeship and would now like the opportunity to specialise.

The client base is varied and includes farmers, landowners, estates and rural businesses, with work covering the purchase and sale of farms, estates and agricultural land, agricultural tenancies, rural property transactions and wider land management matters.

You’ll also have the opportunity to become involved in some of the areas that are increasingly shaping the rural sector, including diversification, renewable energy projects, development opportunities and the changing ways in which rural land is being used.

One of the things I particularly like about this opportunity is the breadth of experience you’ll gain.

Rural Property is rarely simply about completing a transaction. You’ll get to know your clients, understand their land and businesses and advise them on issues which can affect families and estates for generations.

You’ll work alongside experienced rural lawyers who will support your development, while gradually giving you greater responsibility for your own matters and client relationships as your experience grows.

For an NQ, I’d be very happy to speak with someone who has completed a Rural, Agricultural, Commercial Property or Residential Property seat and has a genuine interest in developing within this area. Equally, if you already have up to three years’ PQE within Rural Property, this could offer an opportunity to broaden your experience and take the next step in your career.
