Description
Commercial & Public Sector Solicitor, 1–3 PQE, £52,000–£58,000, National law firm, Leeds
A national law firm is adding a solicitor to its Commercial & Public Sector team, advising public and private sector clients on commercial contracts, public procurement, Subsidy Control and grant funding, with hybrid working in Leeds.
You'll advise public bodies, combined authorities, local authorities and private-sector organisations on high-profile funding programmes, procurements and regeneration projects nationwide, drafting and negotiating grant funding agreements, procurement documents and commercial contracts.
Unusually for a firm of this scale, you'll have direct client contact and real responsibility from day one - in client meetings, contributing to strategic advice, and building your own profile through business development and thought leadership.
The team is recognised nationally for both its Subsidy Control and public procurement work and sits at the forefront of some of the UK's most significant regeneration and public funding projects, with structured supervision and technical development from experienced colleagues across the national practice.
If you're a commercial contracts lawyer wanting to carve out a specialism at the sharp end of public sector work, this is a rare way in.
