I'm working with a brilliant national law firm looking to expand their growing compliance function and bring on board a Compliance Analyst

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in legal compliance, AML, conflicts, CDD and KYC who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to develop their career within a well-respected firm.

The Role?

  • Conducting conflict of interest checks using specialist conflicts software.
  • Reviewing and assessing potential conflicts, liaising with fee earners and partners to reach commercial and compliant decisions.
  • Reviewing Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Client (KYC) documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with AML regulations, SRA requirements and internal policies.
  • Carrying out company, sanctions and verification searches using a range of compliance databases.
  • Reviewing beneficial ownership structures and advising on more complex CDD requirements.
  • Undertaking Source of Funds (SOF) and Source of Wealth (SOW) reviews where required.
  • Supporting ongoing AML reviews for existing clients.
  • Working closely with lawyers and stakeholders across the business to provide practical compliance guidance.
  • Helping maintain high standards across client onboarding, risk management and regulatory compliance.

About you?

  • Previous experience working within a law firm compliance, AML, Risk & Compliance or Business Acceptance team.
  • At least 12 months' experience conducting legal conflicts checks.
  • Experience reviewing CDD, KYC and AML documentation.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience using legal compliance systems such as Intapp Conflicts would be advantageous, although not essential.
