I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join a market-leading Infrastructure & Projects team in Newcastle.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial contracts lawyer with experience in infrastructure, PFI/PPP or wider public sector projects to join a nationally recognised team advising on some of the UK’s most significant and complex infrastructure arrangements.
The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative national team advising both public and private sector clients across sectors including:
- Health

- Supporting clients with operational contract management matters, including variations, refinancings and contractual interpretation
- Advising on PFI contract expiry and hand-back arrangements
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Working closely with colleagues across construction, real estate and dispute resolution teams
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and growth initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
- Be circa 5+ PQE
- Have experience in commercial contracts and infrastructure projects
- Have exposure to PFI/PPP or similar long-term contractual frameworks

Construction law or project finance experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
This opportunity offers:
