Legal Secretary, Employment – Bury St Edmunds
Location: Suffolk (Office Based)

An established and fast-growing Top 200 UK law firm is seeking an experienced, professional and dedicated Legal Secretary to join its busy Employment team. Based ideally in Bury St Edmunds, applicants from other office locations may also be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful and friendly firm where both colleagues and clients come first.

The Role
You will play a key role supporting a busy Employment team, ensuring an excellent standard of client service while managing a varied and demanding workload.
The successful candidate will be confident working under pressure, prioritising tasks effectively, and navigating multiple IT systems with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to the Employment team
  • Managing diaries, correspondence and documentation
  • Prioritising a busy workload and meeting tight deadlines
  • Liaising professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail across all tasks
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the department

About You
We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced as a Legal Secretary or Secretary within professional services
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Professional, flexible and self-motivated
  • Accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Confident using a range of IT systems
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Previous Employment law experience is desirable, but applications from candidates with experience in other legal disciplines or professional services are also welcomed.
