Conflicts Lead - Qualified Lawyer

We're working with a highly respected global law firm looking for an experienced Conflicts Manager to join their Risk & Compliance team. This is a newly created, senior role offering visibility, responsibility, and the opportunity to shape the firm's conflicts and regulatory processes.

The role?

Reporting directly to the COLP/General Counsel, you’ll be a key member of the General Counsel team, providing escalation support and expert legal advice on conflicts matters.

You’ll guide the Business Acceptance Team, liaise with senior stakeholders across the business, and play a hands-on role in regulatory and governance matters

• Act as a point of escalation for complex conflicts and legal queries from the Business Acceptance Team.
• Provide expert advice to senior stakeholders on conflict and broader risk issues.
• Support the development and delivery of conflicts training across the business.
• Mentor and manage junior team members within the Risk & Compliance function.
• Advise on policy updates and maintain procedures relating to conflicts, regulatory, and governance matters.
• Promote process improvement and embrace new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Take a proactive approach to regulatory change and its impact on the firm’s processes.

About you?

️ Strong conflicts experience in an international/UK law firm
️ Experience managing a team in Conflicts/Business Acceptance
️ Qualified lawyer (Otherqualifications or experience considered)
️ Strong communication 
️ InTapp experience is a huge bonus
