HR Administrator
Location: Waterfront, Brierley Hill
Full Time

Are you passionate about people, career development and making a real impact within a values-led, employee-owned organisation? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our growing Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a progressive, people-focused professional services firm while supporting ambitious growth plans.

As HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of HR and recruitment processes in line with the organisation’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee and recruitment data, ensuring compliance across all HR processes, and providing essential administrative support to the wider HR function. This is a varied and hands-on role at the heart of the employee lifecycle.

The successful candidate will support onboarding and leaver processes to ensure smooth transitions, act as a first-line contact for HR queries via email and telephone, and assist with absence management, flexible working requests and resignations. You will maintain accurate HR records, trackers and personnel files, provide administrative support for HR meetings and documentation, and oversee compliance checks including DBS and Right to Work documentation. The role also involves managing new starter documentation and systems, coordinating HR-related IT access requests, and supporting general HR administration.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 12 months’ administration experience within a professional HR environment. You will have strong organisational and planning skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet systems is essential. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, tact and diplomacy when handling sensitive information. A CIPD qualification, or working towards one, is desirable.

In return, we offer a competitive salary with annual review, an annual tax-free profit-share scheme, 25 days’ holiday plus birthday leave, additional discretionary leave and bank holidays, and long service awards. Our benefits package also includes a company pension scheme with employer contribution, group life insurance, enhanced company sick pay, a health cash plan, financial wellbeing support, salary sacrifice schemes, and additional employee benefits.

If you are looking to build your HR career within a collaborative and supportive environment where your contribution truly matters, we would love to hear from you.
