My client are looking for a Private Client solicitor to join their growing and forward-thinking firm.
The Role
The role focuses on Wills and Probate matters, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and estate administration, deeds of variation, and Court of Protection applications. You will take responsibility for complex and higher-value matters, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth and strategic development of the department.
You will work collaboratively across departments, comply with all case management and quality standards, maintain up-to-date legal knowledge, and actively engage in CPD, accreditations, and firm-wide initiatives, including marketing and business development.
Ideal Candidate
You will be a personable and diplomatic team player with strong drafting and negotiation skills. You are comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, managing competing deadlines, and handling multiple matters simultaneously. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload under the supervision of a Director, while delivering high-quality, commercially minded advice and practical legal support to an expanding client base.
You will demonstrate excellent client care, organisational and time-management skills, alongside effective written and verbal communication, and will have experience delegating and working collaboratively with fee earners and support staff, and a genuine interest in business development, marketing, and contributing to departmental growth.
A proactive mindset, strong ethical standards, and a willingness to embrace new systems, processes, and strategic initiatives are essential.
