Private Client Solicitor (5+ PQE) – Varied Caseload – Outstanding Salary – Weston-super-Mare

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor (5 PQE+) to join a long-established and highly regarded law firm on the North Somerset coast.

The firm will very much consider hiring at the Senior Associate or Partner level.

This role would suit a solicitor who enjoys high-quality, traditional private client work, values long-term client relationships, and is comfortable handling a broad and interesting caseload, including matters for high-net-worth individuals, at a firm who brand themselves rightly as large enough to know precisely what they are doing, yet small enough still to care.

The Role:

You will manage your own varied private client caseload, including:

• Wills (including complex and high-value estates)
• Estate planning and inheritance tax mitigation
• Trusts and trust administration
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Advising long-standing family clients across generations

The work is a genuine mix — from straightforward matters through to complex, high-value estates and sophisticated planning, often involving land, business interests, and significant assets.

Ideal Pre-Requisites:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years’ PQE in Private Client
• Comfortable running files independently and advising clients directly
• Technically strong, with a measured and reassuring client manner
• Experience with HNW work is welcome but not essential — curiosity and judgement matter more
