I’m working with a well-regarded employee owned firm who are looking to add an Employment Solicitor to their Leeds office. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone at NQ–3 years PQE who wants to build on their experience in employment law, particularly on the claimant side.
You’ll join a genuinely supportive team where you’ll work closely with an experienced Partner, handling a broad mix of employment work and advising on settlement agreements. The firm offers a structured environment, great training, and the chance to really grow your skills.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing your own caseload of employment matters under supervision
- Handling files from initial instruction all the way through to completion
- Supporting the wider Employment team with ongoing matters
- Advising clients clearly and confidently on settlement agreements
- Preparing documentation, billing files, and ensuring compliance with procedures
- Providing friendly, professional client service at every stage
What they’re looking for
- An Employment Solicitor NQ–3 PQE
- At least 6 months’ experience within employment work
- A good understanding of the employment tribunal process
- Someone organised, methodical and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and face-to-face
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain technical issues in a clear, client-friendly way
- Confident IT skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
