This Legal 500 boutique law firm with a tremendous reputation across the North West is looking for a Corporate Partner (8+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Corporate team in Manchester city centre. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to join this excellent practice at Salaried Partner or Fixed Share Equity. 

The Role You will handle a broad range of high-quality corporate work, with a focus on private equity matters. The range of work will include:

• Acquisitions & disposals
• MBOs
• Company reorganisations 
• Shareholder agreements
• Management buy-ins/outs (MBIs/MBOs)
• Joint venture agreements
• Partnership agreements

The firm advises clients across multiple sectors, from owner-managed SMEs to multi-million pound international blue-chip companies, ensuring a varied and challenging caseload.

There is an existing pipeline of work ready to pick up immediately, alongside strong support from the firm’s business development and marketing teams. Long-term, you will be instrumental in growing the corporate department and becoming a focal point of the team. So, ideally, an existing network of clients & following would be desired, although not essential. 

This practice has a team-first mentality, and there are no individual billing targets, with the focus on collective success and client outcomes, not billables. This leads to a collaborative culture where client relationships and matters are shared across the team. There are several L500-ranked layers, which further adds to the team's credibility & showcases the quality of work in place.
