At QED Legal, I’m really pleased to be working with a progressive Scottish firm who are looking to add to their Private Client team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor with experience in this area who wants to play an important role in a close-knit, supportive, and highly respected department.

The heart of this role is people. You’ll be working closely with clients, guiding them through some of the most important decisions in their lives with clarity, compassion and expertise. Whether it’s executries, wills and tax planning, powers of attorney, trusts or guardianships, you’ll be providing a service that goes far beyond the technical — offering reassurance, practical guidance, and a steady hand when it matters most.

This firm has built its reputation on the strength of client care, so you’ll need to share that ethos. They’re looking for someone who can communicate with confidence, but also with warmth and accessibility — someone who enjoys building relationships as much as solving legal problems.

On the technical side, you’ll bring solid private client experience, with an awareness of the tax implications around executries and wills, and the ability to handle accounts where needed. You’ll have the autonomy to run your own matters, while also being supported by experienced colleagues and encouraged to keep developing your skills.
