Residential Property Solicitor/Lawyer – Shared Ownership | Bristol | Legal 500 Firm 

This is a chance to join one of the most experienced shared ownership property teams in the country, working with a Legal 500 practice that has been advising clients in this area for decades.

The firm has built a long-standing reputation for excellence in shared ownership, acting on housing association panels and providing clear, client-focused advice. Unlike high-volume conveyancing outfits, the approach here is independent and personal – guiding clients through complex transactions with transparency and care.

In this role, you’ll manage the full range of shared ownership matters, including purchases, sales, staircasing, and lease extensions. It’s more technically complex than standard residential property, so you’ll need a strong grasp of the detail. You’ll be expected to provide itemised quotations, resolve issues proactively, and keep the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for clients.

You’ll be a UK-qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with post-qualification experience in residential property. Experience with shared ownership transactions is key – from staircasing to lease extensions – and you’ll combine technical precision with empathy and excellent client care. A collaborative and supportive attitude is central to the team culture.
