If you're a Family Solicitor seeking a role that combines complex, rewarding cases with genuine career progression in a supportive, nationally recognised team, this opportunity could be for you.

This well established firm (ranked among the top 70 UK law firms by revenue) has more than 650 staff across seven offices, including over 110 partners, and revenues of approximately £61 million in the 24/25 financial year. Its Private Client division alone comprises over 100 professionals, covering estates, trusts, agriculture, and its highly regarded Family and Divorce teams.

The Family team operates out Taunton. It handles an exceptional caseload from private children disputes and cohabitation claims, to high-value financial remedy proceedings, frequently advising professionals, HNW clients, sports figures, business owners, and agricultural families.

In this role, you'll be managing high-calibre, privately funded cases with autonomy, backed by mentorship from senior legal staff. Whether you're an emerging Associate ready to take greater responsibility or a Senior Associate seeking a dynamic environment, the firm offers outstanding support, including internal progression and business development opportunities.

While based in Taunton, you'll benefit from a flexible approach supported by a firm-wide commitment to hybrid working and work-life balance .

You'll need solid experience across private family law, financial remedies, children matters, and cohabitation disputes, plus strong technical skills and client-facing capability. Familiarity with agricultural or rural issues will be ideal.

In return, you'll receive a salary DoE (£53k - £60k), great benefits package, access to firm-wide learning and development programmes, and a culture that values inclusion, flexibility, and genuine work-life balance.
