Description

Litigation Solicitor | Somerset | Progressive Regional Firm | Genuine Autonomy & Support

If you're an experienced Litigation Solicitor looking for a role that offers high-quality work, real autonomy, and a collaborative, non-corporate environment, this could be a great fit.

A respected regional firm with a strong reputation and multiple offices across Somerset are growing their Dispute Resolution team. They are looking for two Solicitors to join, advising a diverse client base including individuals, SMEs, and larger corporates.

This is a broad litigation role handling a varied caseload from initial instructions through to trial and enforcement. You’ll be involved in a wide range of contentious matters, including commercial and property disputes, and will be expected to take the lead on drafting, negotiations, and advocacy. You’ll also have the chance to represent clients at court, mediation, and other settlement forums, providing commercially focused legal advice at each stage.

You’ll need to be a qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE, and bring strong knowledge of the CPR and litigation processes, able to manage a caseload with minimal supervision. Experience in commercial litigation, property disputes, or alternative dispute resolution would be beneficial, as would experience in business development.

This is a permanent, full-time position, with a salary range of £60k to £70k DoE. The firm offers a supportive and inclusive working environment with genuine opportunities for development. You’ll benefit from ongoing training, a clear path for progression, and the chance to work closely with a senior team that values initiative and collaboration.

To apply, send your CV to mohamed.hamza@qedlegal.com or call 07300 236070 for a confidential discussion about this opportunity or similar roles across the South West.
