Description

Our client is a hugely successful growing company looking for a transactional company commercial lawyer to join their dynamic in-house team. This position offers a variety of interesting and challenging legal work.

Based in Sunderland this company has a hybrid working policy preferring employees to be in 1-2 days in the office per week.
The successful candidate will:

  • Have a strength in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements, with a leaning towards construction contracts
  • Be able to work in a busy in-house legal department and provide day to day commercial advice to all departments within the business which might include areas such as corporate, data privacy and disputes
  • Have worked in either a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Have a commercial / business outlook to their work
  • Be between 2 – 6 years PQE, although would consider a strong newly qualified solicitor

Our client envisages that candidates between NQ – 4 years PQE plus have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.

For more information on this great in-house opportunity please contact Simon Campbell at QED Legal. If this position isn’t for you but you know someone who could be suitable then please let us know. We offer a reward fee for any successful referrals. For full details please see our website.
