Location: Leeds – Hybrid
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000

The Role
This is a hands-on role with exposure to a wide client base, where you’ll take the lead on matters and be encouraged to contribute to the growth of the department. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers and support their development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
- Advising clients on commercial risk and compliance issues
- Working across IT, IP, and privacy matters as part of a broader commercial caseload
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Getting involved in business development and contributing to team growth
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be a confident and proactive solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE in commercial law, ideally with experience spanning commercial contracts, IP/IT, and data protection. The ideal candidate will be:
- Technically strong, with solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Commercially astute with a practical, solutions-led approach
- Personable and confident in managing client relationships
- Ambitious with an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine interest in developing business
- A team player who is happy to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a supportive working culture
