Employment Paralegal - Acres of Progression Opportunities
One of the regions' most prominent law firms is continuing with the expansion of its highly rated Employment Team and is now eager to appoint an additional Employment Paralegal to its team which is based at the firms' modern offices in the heart of Warwickshire.
This award-winning practice is a full service Legal 500 listed and Chambers ranked law firm that offers specialist legal advice across the full spectrum of legal disciplines to clients on both a local and a national basis. The firm prides itself of on being a people centric business and takes great pride in ensuring that it places its members at the heart of everything it does.
Because of an increase of new instructions from existing clients as well as new client wins, the team is keen to bring on board an employment paralegal to provide support and assistance to solicitors on complex matters whilst at the same time handle a small caseload of high quality files. Matters which you will deal with on your own files will include advice surrounding sickness, maternity and paternity issues and absences. In addition, you will be involved in drafting staff policies and also deal with contentious matters on behalf of a very strong corporate client base as well as provide corporate support when required.
You will ideally have a minimum of 12 months' experience of dealing with employment matters from either a respondent or a claimant background and, importantly, you will be enthusiastic and ambitious about forging a career within the employment sector. Whilst not a pre-requisite, it would be advantageous if you have completed the LPC or are studying via the CILEX route.
This is the perfect role for a confident and driven paralegal who is looking to join the major player in the region and which is able to offer access to high quality matters on behalf of a variety of clients who are highly rated in their sectors. As this is an ever-growing team there will be opportunities for progression, so this firm can take your career to the next stage which is particularly pertinent given many of the firms more senior members joined the practice in a junior capacity.
A competitive salary is naturally on offer given the firms' reputation in the market and the benefits package includes 22 days' holiday, private medical insurance, subsidised parking and a host of corporate discounts in addition to a lucrative bonus scheme.
