Commercial - Franchising Law
This is commercial contracts at the sharp end of the business world. If you are bored of drafting long, dull agreements you don't think will ever be referenced then maybe it is time to look at commercial franchising agreements. This firm has a very strong national and international client base of mainly franchisor clients - including many household names. You will be expected to provide "real world" advice to them on how to draft and negotiate franchise agreements to protect their brand and allow them to remain in control of the franchisee's actions. The agreements need to be well drafted and watertight in the event that clients need to enforce their franchisor rights, but flexible enough and fair enough not to put off potential franchisee investors. This role will be challenging and intellectually demanding and will see you fundamentally involved in the business of the franchisor, akin to being in house but with the benefit of having a wide range of clients in a broad range of business sectors to work with.
Great opportunity with a national legal practice - but this is emphatically not a firm with a long hours and oppressive culture. If it sounds appealing then give us a call to find out more - you could find that this is the tonic to your commercial contracts boredom!
