Description

Take the next steps in your legal career with one of Birmingham’s leading law firms!

The client:

Well-known within Birmingham and the wider West Midlands for their quality of work, this firm has established themselves alongside the larger nationals as a key player within the Birmingham legal scene. With multiple practice areas led by formidable Partners, routine recognition within the Legal 500 Hall of Fame and high practice ranking is the common theme here. Taking a people-led approach to their business, the firm trains, develops and supports some of the West Midlands’ very best legal talent.

The team:

This L500 ranked Property Litigation team is led by a stand-out Partner who is carving out an excellent team. Supported by one Senior Solicitor and 3 further Solicitors, the team are building out an excellent reputation locally and further afield, attracting an array of both corporate and individual clients.

The opportunity:

Due to the continued success of the team and an increase in work we are looking to appoint an additional Property Litigation Solicitor.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years PQE in property litigation (particularly commercial property litigation).

The caseload will be varied in nature, and you can expect to be working towards bespoke solutions for both individual homeowners and large-scale developers or landowners. You should feel confident in the below services:

  • Dilapidations and disrepair issues
  • Forfeiting or taking possession of either commercial or residential properties
  • Other breaches of a lease
  • Recovering rent or service charges
  • Rectifying a mistake at the Land Registry
  • Resolving a boundary dispute
  • Resolving issues relating to occupier’s liability/defective premises

The firm is able to provide both hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
