Description

Solicitor - Dispute Resolution (Property) - Cardiff

I'm looking to speak with Solicitors with litigation experience, interested in joining a Tier 1 ranked highly regarded Dispute Resolution team, at a Cardiff based Top 100 firm.

The role? A bit of everything. Drafting court documents, attending hearings, negotiating with opposing parties, advising clients, and supervising Paralegals in the team. Organisation and time management are key, as is the ability to build strong relationships - clients often see the team as an extension of their own, so excellent client care skills are a must.

Ideally, you'll be a qualified solicitor or barrister with some advocacy and/or litigation experience. That said, the firm are open to different backgrounds - whether you come from a general litigation, criminal, or personal injury background, this could be a great opportunity to specialise in a growing, niche area with clear progression opportunities.

On top of a rewarding role, they offer great benefits, including a minimum of 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, a birthday day off, life assurance, pension scheme, hybrid working, Employee Assistance Programme, local business discounts, and professional fee coverage (where applicable).

The team is recognised as one of the best in the business, advising registered social landlords and local authorities across Wales and England. They help clients with everything from tenancy enforcement in cases of nuisance behaviour, criminal activity, and anti-social conduct to defending disrepair claims and navigating the ever-changing legal landscape - including the complexities of The Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016.

With offices across the UK, this firm works with businesses, individuals, public sector organisations, property companies, and education providers across nationally. Their culture and environment make them a great place to build a career. Their work with local and national charities is a huge part of who they are; whether it’s fundraising, volunteering, or supporting causes that align with their work, the firm is always ready to make a difference.
