Location: Cheshire
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (Dependent on Experience)

I am currently seeking a skilled Senior Family Law Solicitor to join a well-established legal practice in Cheshire. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional legal services in Family Law.

This firm is an independent, market town practice founded in 1997, driven by the belief that access to justice is a fundamental right for all individuals. Specialising in Family Law, Commercial & Residential Property, and Wills, Trusts & Probate, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality legal advice and outstanding client care.

In this role, key responsibilities encompass managing a comprehensive caseload covering financial remedy claims, divorce, civil partnership matters, pre/post nuptial agreements, separation agreements, and cohabitation agreements. Conducting court advocacy when required, demonstrating specialised knowledge in financial remedy claims, and ensuring strict adherence to procedural compliance are paramount. Maintaining exceptional organisational skills is crucial, alongside delivering top-tier customer service in client interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems is essential, coupled with adept time management and prioritisation skills.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 5+ years PQE in Family Law.
  • Experience handling a diverse caseload encompassing all aspects of family law.
  • Proven track record in financial remedy claims.
  • Membership or working towards membership in relevant legal panels 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Positive and proactive work approach.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new skills.
  • Knowledge of legal aid preferred, but not essential.
