A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Receptionist to become part of a thriving, full-service law firm situated in Spinningfields, Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a chance to contribute positively to the firm's dynamic working environment.

I’m actively seeking an individual with exceptional organisational and team collaboration skills to fill this role. The primary responsibilities include welcoming and assisting clients, handling incoming calls with politeness and helpfulness, maintaining client-ready meeting rooms, and supporting general office administration. We are seeking a warm and communicative individual who can work independently within the Reception team. Prior experience in office or reception work is a essential for this role.

The position entails a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week, scheduled between 8 am and 6 pm.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous office and reception experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive with the ability to use initiative
  • Willingness to learn and flexibility in approach
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Polite demeanor with a calm and professional outlook
  • Proficient in computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel)


  • Provide a high-quality professional reception service to clients, partners, and employees
  • Maintain a tidy and professional Reception area
  • Greet clients and visitors
  • Answer and redirect incoming calls, take accurate messages, and pass them on promptly
  • Assist with meeting room bookings
  • Ensure meeting rooms are client-ready at all times
  • Support in preparing for marketing events held in the office
  • Assist with general administration, including building access control and ordering catering supplies
