Job: Legal Secretary
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a dynamic Family Department at a law firm in Sunderland.
As a key member of our team, you will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative assistance to the Family Department.
- Assist with drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
- Manage and organise files, documents, and correspondence.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from clients and external parties.
- Collaborate closely with fee earners and other support staff to deliver high-quality service to clients.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all legal standards.
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role, preferably within family law.
- Exceptional secretarial and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in IT tools and software, including MS Office and legal case management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about delivering excellent client service and exceeding expectations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
