Job Title: Legal Cashier
Location: Liverpool City Centre
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
 
A leading law firm based in the heart of Liverpool city centre, known for their commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their their dynamic and growing finance team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Process client and office account transactions promptly and accurately.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions comply with SRA regulations.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules and regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and ensure compliance within the finance department.
• Handle day-to-day cashiering tasks efficiently, including processing payments, disbursements, and petty cash.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Work closely with other members of the finance team and legal professionals to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Provide support and advice to colleagues on cashiering matters.
• Generate and analyse financial reports as required.
• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements.

 
Qualifications and Skills:
 

• Proven experience as a Legal Cashier with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of cashiering.
• Strong knowledge of SRA regulations and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
