Description
QED are proud to be assisting this well established law firm in the North East to find an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join their team in Sunderland.
The role includes -
- Proving full assistance and support to the Conveyancer on all transactional matters
- Liaise with clients and third parties
- Maintaining case management system and progressing milestones
- Issuing Sale Contract Packs
- Preparing Sale Reports
- Obtaining redemption statements, preparing draft Completion Statements and invoices
- Undertaking relevant searches
- Preparing Transfer Deeds, SDLT and tenancy declarations
- Preparing completion packs
- Handling Conveyancer phone calls and visitors when the Conveyancer is not available
- Any other paralegal and administrative duties as required
- Dealing with other administrative duties as identified from time to time to facilitate the accuracy and speed of the transaction
The firm are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant who has good attention to detail and understands the Conveyancing process. The successful candidate should have excellent communication & organisation skills and able to work under pressure.
