Job Title: Housing Disrepair Senior Paralegal or Fee Earner
Location: Liverpool City Centre
Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 DOE per annum
 
As a Housing Disrepair Senior Paralegal/Fee Earner at the firm, you will play a pivotal role in helping tenants secure justice and compensation for substandard living conditions. You will work closely with clients, provide expert legal advice, and take charge of cases from inception to resolution.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legislation.
Draft legal documents, including court pleadings and correspondence.
Negotiate settlements with opposing parties when possible.
Represent clients in court, if necessary.
Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.
Mentor junior paralegals and legal assistants when needed.
 
Qualifications:
 
Previous experience in housing disrepair cases is essential.
Knowledge of relevant housing and tenancy laws in England.
Proven track record in managing a caseload independently.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
An empathetic and client-focused approach to law.
