Conveyancing Solicitor – Head of Department 
Leighton Buzzard / Hybrid Working
£50,000 - £65,000

QED Legal is currently working with a reputable law firm in Leighton Buzzard, Bucks, looking for a Senior Residential Property/Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE to join our successful and highly regarded team.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a full and varied caseload, with a mixture of matters such as sales, purchase, leasehold, freehold, transfers of equity, etc. It is also preferable if this person has experience managing a small team.

Provide a high standard of service for the Conveyancing clients of the firm and for clients from other areas of work within the private client department when required.

The following list includes the tasks required to fulfil the job role:

• Corresponding with clients and all parties connected to each file by phone and email or face-to-face. Dictating and progressing files.  Day-to-day management of a select number of files.
• Time recording all chargeable & non-chargeable time.
• Implement the requirements for billing, time recording and departmental expenditure as set out in the business plan for the current year
• Market the services of other departments to potential clients
• Marketing for the department to include, networking meetings, article writing and any such work that is required
