Leading regional law firm is looking to appoint a Head of Conveyancing. Founded in 1795 and growing as a reputable conveyancing firm in Lancashire, we are looking at this vacancy for the Oldham office.

Joining as Head of Conveyancing, you will oversee and lead a conveyancing team. This includes a small team of fee earners and assistants, ensuring excellent efficiency and client care in day-to-day processes.

You will provide guidance and nurture the team, grow the firm’s client base and drive business development. From overseeing daily processes and team daily activities, we aim to sustain a team around you.

Alongside mentoring the team, you are responsible for a complex and varied caseload. This includes sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold transactions and transfers of equity.

 
Candidate Criteria and Essential Skills

• Qualified legal professional – solicitor, chartered legal executive to licensed conveyancer
• Proven experience of leading and supporting a team of fee earners
• Experience handling high value, complex property transactions
• Passion for business development and commercially focused mindset
• Strong understanding of commercial to residential property
