Employment Paralegal

QED Legal are working closely with an ABS who are looking for a talented Employment Law paralegal to join them in the West Yorkshire office close to Leeds and Huddersfield.

Commercially minded, yet more relaxed and less rigid than traditional private practice this is the perfect opportunity for an Employment Solicitor who is open to a different way of working. The business operates incredibly flexibly with the lawyers here spreading the work between home and the office, and hours around those important things outside of work.

The role is respondent-based acting for a wide range of small to large businesses advising on both non-contentious and contentious matters, from staff handbooks, policies, drafting contracts etc to Employment Tribunal cases involving litigious matters.

As a paralegal in the team you will be assisting experienced employment lawyers, day to day with employment law matters, hands on, drafting, attending client and 3rd party professional meetings, administration, legal research etc.

As more and more Employment lawyers move away from the rigidity of private practice this is an excellent opportunity for someone genuinely wanting to try something new with a great team where there is no archaic structure, and ivory towers.

Salary is competitive based up to circa £25k depending on experience + excellent benefits.
