Job: Employment Lawyer
QED Legal are looking to speak with respondent Employment Solicitors who are looking for a new and different type of role in the West Yorkshire area. We are working with a specialist employment and HR practice who are keen to add to their busy and friendly team.
Commercially minded, yet more relaxed and less rigid than traditional private practice this is the perfect opportunity for an Employment Solicitor who is open to a different way of working. The business operates really flexibly (and did so long before the pandemic intervened, and made other practices sit up and take notice) with the lawyers here spreading the work between home and the office, and hours around those important things outside of work.
The role is respondent-based acting for a wide range of small to large businesses advising on both non-contentious and contentious matters, from staff handbooks, policies, drafting contracts etc to Employment Tribunal cases involving litigious matters.
As this is not a private practice role the business is not regulated by the SRA and as such you will classed as an Employment and HR Advisor although all the advisors here have qualified as Solicitors and worked at some leading international, national and regional practices.
As more and more Employment lawyers move away from the rigidity of private practice this is an excellent opportunity for someone genuinely wanting to try something new with a great team where there is no archaic structure, and ivory towers.
Salary is competitive based on experience + benefits.
If you would like to hear more about this role then please contact Graham Rawlinson at QED Legal for more information.
