Senior EL/PL Case Handler

QED Legal are working alongside a highly regarded Yorkshire law firm who are looking for an experienced EL/PL Claims Handler to join them out of their modern offices based in the, soon to be city of culture, Bradford.

This is a defendant role dealing with pre-litigated Employers and Public Liability matters. This role would ideally be suited to defendant lawyers, or those with solid claimant experience of EL/PL matters.

Day to day you will be handling a caseload of EL/PL matters from the start of the claim up to the litigation stage. You will advise and negotiate on issues of liability and quantum, and recovery of client’s losses from 3rd parties.

The team have a solid reputation in representing commercial clients in retail and hospitality, and those with exposure to claims in retail would be of particular interest, although this is not a pre-requisite for the role.

Salary is competitive up to circa £35k with great benefits including pension up 7% (depending on years’ service), 3 x life assurance, interest free for rail/bus travel, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, discounted car parking, Perkbox and more.
