Crime and Regulatory Paralegal

QED Legal are working for a well-known Yorkshire law firm who are looking to recruit a talented crime and regulatory paralegal to join their team in York.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the region’s leading crime and regulatory lawyers in a small and friendly team.

The work is incredibly varied, and all privately funded with no legal aid cases.

You will be assisting with advising clients across a wide range of business crime matters including road traffic offences, serious fraud and linked white collar crime, as well as regulatory work defending prosecutions brought by the health and safety executive, trading standards, HMRC, environment agency etc.

The ideal candidate will have experience (at least 6 months) working in either a general crime team, or a crime and regulatory team.

Although predominantly office based there will be increased flexibility over time to be able to work in a hybrid manner between the office and home.
