This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious legal professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service and achieving the best results.

The Opportunity Our client is expanding their thriving Credit Hire team and is seeking experienced Litigation Solicitors or Fee Earners to handle a wide range of credit hire claims. If you’re looking for a role that offers challenge, growth, and the chance to work with a supportive and skilled team, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing a caseload of litigated fast track and multi-track credit hire cases, under supervision.
  • Handling a mix of liability-admitted and disputed cases.
  • Ensuring compliance with court directions, orders, and internal instructions in a timely manner.
  • Providing regular updates to credit hire companies and maintaining strong working relationships with them.
  • Progressing cases efficiently from the commencement of proceedings to trial.
  • Negotiating and settling cases to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Utilising case management and diary systems effectively.

What We’re Looking For To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Essential experience: A solid background in credit hire litigation, including handling a full caseload of RTA claims.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of case law, the MOJ protocol, pre-action protocol for personal injury claims, and the CPR.
  • Experience with Proclaim (advantageous but not essential).
  • A strong understanding of KPIs such as settlements, billing, and case duration.
  • Confidence handling infant approvals and maintaining high-quality work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a client-focused approach.
  • A self-motivated, organised, and target-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Why Join Our Client? This is a firm that values its employees and provides:

  • A supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Opportunities for career development and progression.
  • A strong focus on maintaining high-quality client care.
