This role is ideal for a Senior Associate with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE or an experienced Associate looking to step into a more senior position.

The Role

This position offers a mix of independence and collaboration, allowing you to manage your own caseload and client relationships while also working closely with senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters. You will take a leading role in smaller deals, contributing to a diverse portfolio of work for clients that include private companies and PLCs, both domestically and internationally.

The firm values relationship-building and client care, offering you the time and resources to develop strong connections with clients. You will also be actively involved in business development and collaborate with colleagues across various teams to share knowledge, skills, and opportunities.

What They Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, with expertise in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, corporate governance, and reorganisations.

As a Senior Associate, you will demonstrate strong technical skills and experience in mentoring and supporting junior team members. An interest in or experience with networking and business development will also be advantageous.

To succeed in this role, you should be a team player with a commercial mindset, capable of staying calm under pressure and working effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Location and Flexibility

The role is based in Leeds, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week as part of an agile working policy.
