Corporate Commercial Lawyer – In-House Legal Team (Hybrid, Derbyshire)

Our international client is seeking a Corporate Commercial Lawyer to join their highly respected in-house legal team. This is a diverse and engaging role, offering exposure to corporate transactions, commercial contract drafting, and a wide range of business-focused legal work.

The role is based in Derbyshire, with a hybrid working policy requiring 3 days per week in the office.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a UK-qualified solicitor with:

• Strong academic background and training from a reputable law firm
• Experience advising on corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations
• A solid grounding in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements

Bring key capabilities including:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, commercial environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A pragmatic, business-oriented approach to legal advice

Background:

• In-house experience is desirable, but candidates from private practice with strong commercial exposure and business awareness are also encouraged to apply

Experience Level:

Our client anticipates that candidates with NQ–4 years’ PQE will have the relevant level of experience for this role. However, this PQE range is provided as a guide only — applications from candidates outside this range are welcomed where the appropriate skills and experience can be demonstrated.
