Job: Construction Solicitor
QED Legal are delighted to be working alongside a recognised name in the legal market in Leeds who are looking to add an ambitious and talented junior construction lawyer to their small team.
The firm are global and with a big national presence. They are well known across multiple areas of law and have a strong national construction offering. They are looking to grow this in Leeds where they currently have a Senior Associate.
This role is perfect for those NQ-3 who are looking to really accelerate their career and cannot do it at their current firm. This firm have an enviable track record of developing people internally to move all the way up to Partner level.
This is a contentious construction role and ideally the candidate will have good experience of working, post qualification in a recognised construction team, or have undertaken a seat or seats in construction on their training contract.
The firm also recognise there may be those litigators who have an interest in the construction sector but have not had the chance to do a full construction law caseload, or any construction law at all. They are willing to look at strong candidates who would be happy to be trained in the area. You should have an excellent academic background and a genuine interest in construction law.

On top of a competitive salary up to circa £55k depending on experience, there is a bonus structure and other benefits
