One of the world’s biggest Law Firms is looking to add Associates with between 2 and 4 Years’ PQE to its global Antitrust & Competition Law Practice, based in its London office.

Applicants will be Competition Lawyers with experience in transactions and investigations (rather than those solely with competition litigation experience).

You will be joining a truly global team made up of leading lawyers – many of whom have held senior positions in enforcement agencies in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. This team has assisted in the most notable transactions in jurisdictions around the world – for instance, it has advised on nearly 20% of conditional merger approvals to date in China.

The Role:

Working directly with a leading-light Partner – described by the Legal Directories as “a fantastic competition lawyer” - you will be joining this Firm’s integrated global Antitrust & Competition Practice, comprising a network of lawyers in 27 business centres worldwide.

Advising clients in the financial, technology, pharma, energy, entertainment and consumer sectors, work on offer shall comprise UK, EU and multi-jurisdictional mandates in the following areas:

• Obtaining competition & FDI clearance for M&A transactions and joint ventures
• Representing clients in cartel, monopoly and market investigations
• Advising on foreign direct investment regimes
• Economic regulation of utilities and subsidy control
