A new opportunity to join the thriving commercial property team of a Legal 100 firm, working with established client names and a good deal of London based work. 

The firm are a highly regarded UK top 100 practice established nationally with a network of offices across the UK. The Commercial Property team deal with a broad variety of work with clients including national house-builders, retail chains and major financial services organisations, in addition to local authorities, private companies and some individual landowners.

The team are looking for a qualified solicitor or legal executive to join them at their Southampton office. Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years PQE gained at an established firm within a real estate environment. You will consider yourself competent in dealing with acquisitions and disposals of all types of commercial property and preferably knowledge of site assembly for development projects and house-builder clients. Further experience of landlord and tenant work relating to commercial lease negotiations as well as advising property investment clients would be preferential too. 

The role offers a great deal of diversity with the core body of your work to include a mix of development (residential and commercial), investment and retail landlord & tenant work. You will of course manage your own transactions and also provide key support to the team on more complex and larger scale matters. In addition there will be the opportunity to build upon your existing strengths and develop expertise in other areas such as property finance work. With many clients being London based the team at Southampton have a very close working relationship with their counterparts in central London.
