Ideally you will have gained at least 2 years' PQE within Commercial Litigation and be comfortable managing your own caseload. You will be joining a small team but one that still deals with complex legal matters and a wide variety of work to include: contract disputes, shareholder & partnership disputes, insolvency matters, property disputes, boundary disputes and professional negligence.

Working alongside a Director, you will become an integral part of the firm right away and will enjoy a lot of direct client contact with key clients of the firm as well as contribute to building the department further by getting actively involved in the business development activities of the firm and the department.

The team currently consists of x2 Solicitors, x2 Paralegals and support staff, so you will fit into a structure that does offer the opportunity to progress your career and increase your responsibilities. One aspect of this role that will be expected of you is management and you will be able to supervise 2 Paralegals and assist with their progression, whilst also assisting with the growth of the team. The firm are very work/life balance focused and can offer a fully remote role, however there would be some travel to an office needed to liaise with the Director and discuss plans for progressing & growing the team. All fee earners currently have the choice to work remotely, hybrid or from the office and this will continue to be in place.

Salary for this role is based on existing your existing package and PQE level however as a smaller firm they are able to offer extra benefits like a flexible working patterns, a pleasant work/life balance and generous holiday allowance.
