QED is excited to be working with a leading international firm who are looking to add to their growing Digital, Tech, and Data Team, specifically in their Newcastle office.

Their national team represents top FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 clients, public sector organisations, and industry leaders on high-profile, business-critical projects. They also collaborate with their US colleagues and global Lex Mundi member firms on international transactions.

About the Role:

We are seeking a lawyer with 4+ years PQE in digital, tech, or data protection to advise on complex technology transactions, digital transformation projects, data protection, and emerging technologies like generative AI. You’ll work with developers, suppliers, and businesses across various sectors, helping them adopt and implement cutting-edge digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advising on contract strategy, data protection, and regulatory matters.
- Involvement in multi-jurisdictional projects, with opportunities for international secondments.
- Supporting businesses in expanding into new markets, particularly in the USA and Saudi Arabia.

Ideal Candidate:

- At least 4 years PQE in digital/tech law from a city or large regional firm or in-house.
- Strong drafting and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic about the practice area and committed to delivering top-tier client service.
