Restructuring/Insolvency Law Solicitor, min 5 yrs PQE, required by an international law firm to cover a period of maternity leave for 12 months.

Their highly rated Restructuring team advises financial institutions, turnaround and insolvency practitioners, company directors, shareholders and other stakeholders on strategies for recovery and turnaround. They also investigate causes of company failure and pursue claims against those responsible. They act for all major clearing banks as well as a wide variety of other lenders.

The team is increasingly becoming involved in complex, high value restructurings at an early stage in the financial decline curve, with the aim of providing innovative solutions which improve returns to stakeholders and, in many cases, avoid an insolvency process altogether. They are building an increasing reputation for their contentious practice too, having been instructed on a number of high profile assignments.

The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or large regional practice. Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach. They will also have a good academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.

What our clients say

Having uploaded my CV due to my job coming to an end,  I was not expecting to have anyone act on it so proactively, that is until Greg came upon it.  I have dealt with many agencies in the past who have promised to find my ideal job and little has come of it but with Greg at QED things were different.  Having contacted me to advise that he had a legal company who I may be interested in having my details put forward for he was very forthcoming with the name of the firm which turned out to be a company I had previously worked for and been made redundant.  Greg made me feel very worthwhile, that my skills were important and that there would be a suitable job match for me.  He was extremely proactive all the way, a very nice, warm individual I found easy to talk to and who knew the legal background and his client's needs well.  I am so pleased with the way things have turned out and the fact that I will be starting a new position at the beginning of April which has taken a lot of pressure off me.  I would definitely recommend Greg to any people searching for their next job in the legal market as I am a 100% satisfied individual.  Thanks.  Anita
