Private Client Solicitor - Trusts & Tax
A regional firm with a very solid reputation is looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing practice and become part of the established Private Client Team which is based at the firms' Wolverhampton office.
The firm can trace its roots back well over a century and is able to boast a very rich heritage. Notwithstanding its traditions, it is renowned as a forward thinking and innovative practice that invests heavily in technology and was one of the first firms in the area to take advantage of the ABS and amalgamate with a property services business.
The practice is keen to hear from a Private Client Solicitor of around 2 to 6 years' PQE to join its well known established team and deal with the full remit of Private Client matters. You will be tasked with handling a broad caseload which will include drafting and advising on wills, dealing with tax and trust matters and undertaking estate administration. There will also be scope to deal with high net worth matters as well as undertake work comprising complex subject matter such as dealing with high value complicated financial structures.
As a senior member of the team you will be expected to be a technical referral point to more junior members and in due course there is scope for you to progress within the firm's structure.
It is essential that you have a full, clean driving license as this is not purely an office based role; carrying out home visits to clients is an integral part of the role and any connections with the West Midlands area would be advantageous.
Qualified STEP membership is preferred although the firm is equally as keen to hear from those who are working towards either STEP of SFE status.
The firm not only offers a competitive salary and benefits package but boasts a low attrition rate. Indeed, this role has opened due to internal progression within the firm.
The practice encompasses the very best aspects of a traditional practice, providing a very supportive and relaxed environment whilst at the same time offering the opportunity for an abundance of on and off-site client visits.
This is an ideal opportunity to a solicitor who is fed up with a purely office based role and who craves a more varied and client facing challenge and who is keen to make a real difference to the lives of local clients in the surrounding area.
