Legal Assistant/Administrator - Marine & Shipping Law

An experienced Legal Assistant/Administrator is required due to expansion, to join a Law Firm in the Manchester area. The role will be supporting lawyers within their Marine & Shipping Law department.
The Legal Assistant/Administration vacancy will support specialist lawyers including; opening files, updating files, progressing files, liaising with clients, telephone work, chasing information, logging enquiries, diary management, preparing documents, legal billing, project work and any other duties as required.
To be considered for this role it is essential you have prior legal administration or assistant experience, ideally within insurance but we will consider other areas. You should be able to deal with a fast-paced workload and have a thorough understanding of legal processes and procedures. You should have good IT skills and have used a case management system previously.

The Legal Assistant/Administrator role will be working in Manchester, close to major transport links. The role is full time, salary depending on experience.
