Great opportunity for a Financial Services Regulatory and White Collar Crime Solicitor, 2-4 yrs PQE, to join a highly regarded City of London law firm.
The role will involve an interesting, varied and challenging mix of both contentious and noncontentious financial services regulatory and white-collar crime issues.
The successful candidate will need to be prepared to handle both contentious and some noncontentious work as demand arises. The candidate will be based in the firm's Dispute Resolution team.
The financial services regulatory practice handles a variety of FCA Investigations; assisting s166 Skilled Person Reviews; change-in-control applications and contested cases; FCA approved person advice; FCA/PRA Remuneration Code; and a wide range of other regulatory issues.
The white collar crime practice handles large SFO investigations and prosecutions; corporate internal investigations; advising in relation to money laundering, sanctions and financial crime issues; advising in relation to compliance with the UK Bribery Act, as well as a wide variety of corporate criminal matters including Health & Safety.
The successful candidate must have experience post qualification in financial services regulatory and white collar crime, a genuine commitment to developing in this specialist area of practice and be highly self-motivated.
